1) Please make sure you are using a standard microSD/microSDHC memory card (class 4 or class 6) and NOT an Ultra card (above class 6). The memory card should not have printing with the word "Ultra" or ‘C’ symbol with 10 in it or ‘U’ symbol with 1 or 3 in it.
Memory size of 8GB - 32GB is acceptable. If using the wrong card the device will provide inconsistent recording. Please see examples below and some guidelines on what to look out for (circled in yellow) in buying microSD memory card.
2) Adjust the sensor sensitivity according to the environment. The less natural lighting, the less sensitive the device is to pick up motion and activate its recording.
Please see user guide (page 6-7) on how to adjust settings:
https://www.electroflip.com/UserGuides/HomeSecur.pdf
3) The wireless remote control is based on infrared so the receiver module only receives the light wave emitted in a straight emission line.
Once you identify where you intend to mount the camera, first temporarily place the camera in the general area and test the unit heavily on where the remote control can be aimed at the camera unit. You'll notice it requires a direct line of sight to see your key press. Activate constant recording then stop and activate motion detection then stop. This is simply to get familiar with the
remote and response time of the camera unit, and how it records in both day and
night (use a dark room to test night vision).
