Every time you call the PeTrack, you will receive a text message from the unit that would contain a Google Map URL, latitude and longitude, IMEI and other important details as well as the battery level of the unit (refer to the example text message below). From the text message you will be able to determine if the PeTrack has a full or low battery.

Using the example text message above, you will have the following information:
Google Map: http://maps.google.com/?q=25.070310N,121.592933E
Battery Level: V=4.15
A battery level of 4.15 (V=4.15) means that the unit is fully charged. If the voltage drops to 3.60 (V=3.60), it means that the unit has a low battery and needs to be charged.
To properly charge the unit:
Connect the PeTrack to the AC adapter via the USB cable that came with the unit. Allow it to charge overnight or more than 4 hours at the very least. When you're done charging the unit and have disconnected it from the wall adapter, make sure to power cycle the unit. Just turn off the unit and turn it back on, to make sure you know in what state the unit is in.
NOTE: When you're done charging the device and have disconnected it from the wall adapter, make sure to power cycle (turn off and turn on) it. After you disconnect it from the wall charger/adapter the device will remain ON, make sure to turn it OFF then turn it back ON as indicated on the YouTube video on How to Turn On/Off the Device (click link below).
