The iTrack 2 GPS tracking device when fully charged gives you 60 days of battery life and it allows productive usage while in automatic sleep mode.
If your device does not enter into sleep mode automatically here are some tips to help save your device's power.
1) Make sure all features on the device are off except regular tracking.
Send the following commands:
reset123456
imei123456
tracker123456
sms123456
begin123456
nofix123456
clear123456
noshock123456
nostockade123456
nomove123456
nospeed123456
Please wait for the device to respond with an acknowledgment message (OK! message) before sending the next command. If any of the commands responds with a fail message, please take note of the command and contact us for further assistance.
2) You can also manually configure the tracking device to go to sleep mode. Depending on your model tracker will depend on which command works for you. Just send them one at a time and wait for a response, the one that responds is the one you will use in the future.
Just send the command:
sleep123456
sleep123456 time
sleep123456 shock
For those models that work with command time and shock.
The command with Shock will sleep until the tracker is moved and it will wake up automatically, then once stopped it will fall back asleep in 5 minutes.
The command with just time, means it will fall asleep in 5 minutes but only awaken when its called or text messaged, not when it is moved.
